Bring a Friend Week The week of October 12 – 15 is Bring a Friend Week to dance class. Students may bring a friend to any class this week. Information on classes and the studio will be available if someone is interested in registering. The friends are encouraged to wear clothes to move in. Please keep in mind that the class they visit may be a full class. Instructors will allow the friends to participate as much as possible; however, participation in some classes may be limited. Trick-or-Treat Time
Students will have a chance to wear their
Halloween costumes to dance class and have a
trick-or treat time during the last 20
minutes of that class. Please bring a treat
to share and send home with the class and a
bag to collect your goodies. If possible,
moms of younger students need to be present
to come into the dance room and be the
“Trick-or-Treat houses”. We do not need food
or drinks since it is not a party.
Oct. 29 will be closed due to Cabell Co. Trick or Treat Night. Reminders
Students need to wear dance clothes
to class! Studio payment can be placed in the waiting room payment basket or given to an instructor during business hours. They can also be mailed or placed through the mail slot during non-business hours. We appreciate your prompt payment.
Studio Merchandise
Lyrical shoes - $15
T-shirts are $10, and Polos are $15. Tights run $8-$14. We do have some used
ballet, tap, jazz, and baton shoes for $5 unless otherwise noted. New
shoes are also available and run $18-$24. Please see an instructor to purchase.

New Classes Starting The Mommy and Me class is designed for children ages 2-4 years and their parents. Filled with songs, movement, and lots of fun, each session is created to help develop your child’s physical and mental growth. Motor skills, creative dance, props, and games are used in a circle time format to teach song and dance exercises. These classes also give parents a chance to spend quality time with their children, to meet other parents, and introduce your child to the dance room environment. Mommy and Me session 1 classes start October 5. They are offered Monday at 6pm and Thursday at 12pm. The cost is $85/session. Space is available in both classes. Siblings of current students get a discounted registration fee. A Boy’s and Girl’s Tap/Hip Hop Class is starting October 6 at 5pm. This class is for 3- 5 yrs olds. Variety Benefit Show On November 28 at 7pm in the Renaissance Center, Premiere Dance Studio will participate in a benefit for New Baptist Church. This church, attended by Mrs. Melissa and Nancy Carter of Nancy’s School of Dance, is raising money to build new classrooms. Several dance groups from both studios as well as singers/actors will contribute to this worthy cause. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us at this event. More information will follow. We will measure for costumes in November for
each class. Parents will have an opportunity
to see the costumes before they are ordered.
