Costume Deposits

Costume deposits of $40.00/class are due now. Remember, a deposit is due for each dance your child will perform in recital. Baton 3/4 and Baton 5 students do 2 routines per class. Tap/Jazz classes also have 2 costumes. Baton/Jazz will have only one.  The costume balance is due January 15. You can combine costume deposits with tuition and turn in the first week of classes.

 Bulletin Boards and Website

Please continue to check the studio Bulletin Boards and website for up-to-date information. If you notice that website links aren’t working or you can not open certain pages, please let us know. If you have pictures from past recitals or anything you would like to share with us for the website, please email them to Carrie at wvred03@gmail.com. 

 Christmas For A Cause

On Saturday, November 28 at 7pm, PDS and Nancy’s School of Dance will be hosting Christmas For A Cause, a benefit show to raise money for New Baptist Church’s Building Fund. Several of our classes will be performing. The show will be held at the Renaissance Center, 900 8^th Street in Huntington. Tickets are $12 for ages 3 yrs and older and are available in the studio office. Please join us for this festive evening for a great cause!

Recital Theme

Our recital theme this year is “Dancing in Color” with songs relating to colors. It will be help May 21-22 at City Hall in Huntington. Please mark your calendars now. This is a very exciting time for all the dancers.

Studio T-shirts

Studio t-shirts will be passed out beginning next week. We do have some extras if you would like to purchase one for yourself or for a sibling. They are $10 each. 

Studio Questionnaires

This month Instructors will be passing out questionnaires about the studio. Please fill these out and return them to the office. Your feedback helps us meet your needs.

 Looking Ahead

We are approaching the winter months and I want to remind you of our class weather policy.

When Cabell County Schools are closed for snow or bad weather, dance classes may continue as scheduled. The studio’s phone greeting and website will be updated by 12:00 noon to let you know if classes are cancelled. Please call or go online to get the current information. Phone calls will not be made to students.

- Note: Morning and afternoon classes will be cancelled for all closings and delays.
