Studio & Tuition Policies

 Studio Policies

  1. No food or drinks are allowed in the dance room.
  2. The waiting room is not a playroom. Please be responsible for your children who are not taking class. Also, please use the observation window to watch your child. In Room Dance Observation days will be available throughout the year.
  3. Dress Code: Dancewear is required for all classes, any color any style.**
  4. Please no jeans. 
  5. Shoes – pink Ballet, black Tap, and black Jazz/Hip Hop
  6. Lyrical/Modern - tan Foot Thongs
  7. Baton – tan Prowler twirling shoes by Star Line
  8. Street Shoes are not to be worn on the dance floors.
  9. All hair is to be pulled up and out of face.
  10. You are responsible for all personal belongings.
  11. Missed classes may be made up in a similar level class recommended by the instructor. It is your responsibility to inquire about makeup classes. Tuition refunds or reductions are not given for missed classes.
  12. Cancellation – You may withdraw from a class at any time by giving the instructor written or verbal notification by the end of the month.
  13. Recital – Each spring the students will present a recital for family and friends, giving the dancers an opportunity to gain public performance experience.
  14. Costumes are chosen by the instructor and generally run $60-$75 per class.
  15. Please notify us with changes in name, address, e-mail, or telephone number. If you need to talk to us, please call the studio and leave a message. We will return calls before and after classes. 
  16. Monthly Newsletters are e-mailed at the beginning of each month and posted at the studio and online. Please read them to stay up to date.
  17. Placement of students in dance classes is at the discretion of the instructor.
  18. Classes must maintain a minimum of 5 students to hold the class.

At registration

  1. Registration fees and first month’s tuition are due at the time of registration. Additional monthly fees are due the 1st class of the preceding month. (October tuition is due the first class in September.) Triple pay fees are due the 1st of August, November, and February. Payments are made in 9 Monthly, 3 Triple Pay, or 1 Yearly installment, August – April, and are based on 32 weeks of dance classes per year. This includes all holidays and breaks taken by the Studio. You may pay at the studio in the waiting room mail basket or mail your payment to the studio’s address. Envelopes are provided for your convenience.
  2. Tuition must be paid in order to hold your spot in a class. Fees are paid by the month, not the lesson. Tuition refunds are not given for missed classes.
  3. Bank fees charged to the studio on returned checks must be added in to the returned check balance and paid promptly.
  4. A $40.00 costume deposit for each costume ordered is due on November 1 with the entire balance due January 15.  These fees must be paid before the costume is delivered.
  5. Additional (voluntary) fees for the year include: PDS clothing, recital pictures, DVDs, and tickets.
  6. Family Discounts: $5.00 off the monthly class fee for each additional family member. Discount can be applied to Triple Pay and Yearly Rates.
